My name is Casey Choron. I'm 21 years old, and I'm currently a second-semester sophomore at School of Visual Arts in NYC, majoring in computer art and animation. Here you will find a resume, portfolio, and some background info on who I am and what I do. | |||||||||||||||||||||||

Short -Term Objective: To intern at a post-production company and gain experience in the hands-on creation of 3-D graphics and animation. I would also like to gain a fundamental knowledge of the computer art industry and how it works. Experience: Pearl Paint/Rupaco: Salesperson (June-July 1998) At this art supply retail chain, I worked in the paper department. I assisted customers in sales, counted inventory, and stocked materials. Sony Music Entertainment: Intern (June - August of 1997) At Sony, I interned for Jeniffer Frommer in the New Media Department. I assisted in the creation of Sony's line of enhanced CD's. I worked on a non-profit, promotional CD-ROM for FAO Schwarz. I designed much of the interface, created much of the graphics, and also participated in lingo programming. I also created downloadable screensavers ("Screenkillers") for many Sony recording artists such as Aerosmith, Michael Penn, and John Denver. March Tenth Inc: Freelance Design (1994-Present) I created the artwork for a Bruce Springsteen T-shirt that became the best-selling merchandise item on his Ghost of Tom Joad Tour in 1996. Using Adobe Illustrator and Quark Xpress, I designed the interior for the book Sharp Dressed Men, a biography of the Rock band, ZZ Top. I created the page layouts, chapter openings, space breaks, and running heads. The book was published by Hyperion in 1994.
